More and more military personnel and veterans are finding yoga as a great tool to find balance in the body and mind and we actively encourage and support these efforts with our Yoga for Vets Program. Active military and veterans who enroll in this program can take five classes for free and obtain class passes for a reduced price thereafter. We also offer reduced prices for spouses and family members who want to take classes concurrently with a veteran.
The guidelines for which classes to take are the same for veterans as any other student: those new to the practice should consider starting with Beginning Flow, Gentle Flow or Iyengar classes; those with yoga experience can take any class; and those seeking more relaxation can join our Restorative or Yin classes.
Please let the teacher know ahead of time if you have any injuries or limitations and/or prefer not receiving hands-on adjustments so they may suggest modifications and alternatives to support your yoga practice.
